On May 22nd and 26th, in commemoration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, we distributed 418 reusable menstrual pads along with other hygiene materials to female students at Army Day Secondary School in Janguza and Bukavo Barracks, Kano State. This outreach aimed to address menstrual hygiene challenges by providing sustainable, cost-effective menstrual care solutions that reduce environmental waste and empower young girls to attend school confidently and comfortably.

By promoting menstrual health education alongside distribution, we sought to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and foster an environment where girls can thrive academically and socially without interruption. This outreach was carried out by two of our volunteers as part of their NYSC Personal CDS. We appreciate their dedication and efforts toward ending menstrual poverty. We also acknowledge the generous support of our sponsors, especially Virtuous Pads, for their invaluable contributions to this initiative.#MenstrualHygiene #CommunityDevelopment #NYSC#SustainableHealth #Empowerment#MotherCarelnitiative
